i'm "sick" cough, cough...
so i called in sick today because the whole family was coming over along with some friends from out-of-town... my manager was like, "well, next time you come in to work, we'll have to talk about this." in my head, i was like, "whatever, this is a seven dollar and hour job and you want me to stress out over it?" i have only called in like 2 or 3 times since i've been working there. (which is like 5 or 6 months)... plus, i stay late like every day that i work, so they need to get over it. i am also scheduled to work tomorrow from 1 to close and my availability says i DONT WORK ON SUNDAYS!!! so, either i will have to call in and tell them that, or miss church... ugh. i need a better job. as in, not retail. or fastfood. or food at all. hmm... maybe i should go to a temp agency after i start school... we'll see. i really don't hate my job, it just drives me nuts... well, that's all for now... xoxo banana

oh, Anna. you shouldn't have called in sick. You should have called in apathetic!
I'd love to have heard the delicious silence on the other end of the phone when Anna called in and said, "Yeah, I won't be coming in today. I can't because, well, I really don't care."

LOL so how was work on Sunday?
What do they provide SICK days for, if not for you to use? Heehee, good for you. Steve always yells at me because I'm often too chicken to call in sick.
When are we going to go see a scary movie? Can you call in sick so we can go?
